The Manulife Walk for Memories is a fun, family-friendly event where the community comes together to raise money for the Alzheimer Society of Toronto while honouring and remembering those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Join us for a fun and easy indoor walk
The Manulife Walk for Memories begins at the Allen Lambert Galleria in Brookfield Place, loops through Toronto’s underground PATH and then ends right back at Brookfield Place. Stay warm, stay dry and stay entertained by the various performers set up throughout the course of the walk!
The Walk brings together a community of passionate individuals who are looking to help people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. This includes:
- Alzheimer Society board members and staff
- Corporate partners
Proceeds from the event will go toward:
- Counselling and support for people with dementia and their families.
- Education and awareness in the community.
- Research to find the cause and the cure.
8:30 a.m. – Registration opens. Enjoy free food, music and entertainment as you get ready to walk!
10:00 a.m. – Welcome, Shoelace Tying Ceremony and warm-up.
10:30 a.m. – Walk begins. Experience the fun entertainment set up along the Walk route.
11:30 a.m. – Prizes and farewell
